Join members of the Philharmonia's woodwind section for a lunchtime concert of intimate chamber music.
Music by Mozart and Rossini is paired with three 20th-century favourites for woodwind, showcasing the subtle colours of the flute, clarinet, oboe and bassoon.
Plus, gain fascinating insights into the workings of the instruments, as Associate Flute Kristin Hammerseth and Principal Oboe Timothy Rundle give a public masterclass at 2.30pm, following the main recital.
We're delighted to be part of Canterbury Christ Church University's lunchtime concert series, enhancing our wider Canterbury residency at The Marlowe.
See the full Orchestra in concert a week later, as conductor Herbert Blomstedt leads a performance of Mozart's Symphony No. 40 and Beethoven's Eroica.
