Keith Bragg, Principal Piccolo and former Chairman of the Orchestra (1990-2004), has been with the Philharmonia since 1980.

He began playing at the age of 13 and studied with William Bennett at the Guildhall School of Music and Maxence Larrieux in Paris. He is now Head of Woodwind at the Royal Academy of Music.
