2021/2022 London Season

Booking for Friends of the Philharmonia opens at 10am on Thursday, 1 July. General booking opens Thursday, 8 July.

Principal Conductor Santtu Matias-Rouvali conducts the Philharmonia

It’s an exciting time for the Philharmonia: we have a new Principal Conductor, Santtu-Matias Rouvali, and we’re able to give large-scale concerts for a live audience again. We can’t wait to play for you.

We’ve got some great musical experiences in store, from an all-Mozart evening to hypnotic film music by Philip Glass. The 80+ fantastic musicians of the Philharmonia are joined by soloists including violinists Pekka Kuusisto and Hilary Hahn, and pianists Andràs Schiff and Pierre-Laurent Aimard. Our Human / Nature series focusses on how composers across the centuries have been inspired by the natural world – find out more here.

We’re announcing the season in two parts this year. Look out for full details of our February – June 2022 concerts in the autumn.
