Enjoy an afternoon of fairytales and magic for all the family in this performance combining live music with exciting storytelling.

Author James Mayhew brings to life the Russian tale of the heroic Vasilisa the Fair, narrating the story along with live illustration.

Accompanying the story, members of the Philharmonia’s MMSF Instrumental Fellowship Programme perform Borodin’s colourful String Quartet No. 2, the perfect piece to set the mood for a mysterious Russian fairytale.
