Symphonize is a creative platform that enables young people to experience music as performers and creators alongside the Philharmonia Orchestra musicians and artists from Soft Touch Arts.
Over a week-long intensive project, young people work with professional musicians to fuse reggae, dub, hip-hop and spoken-word with classical music to create something brand new. A live synchronized visual display produced by young filmmakers brings the music to life, inspired by the themes and lyrics of the performance.
Join us for the project’s culmination, produced and performed by young people from Soft Touch Arts, The Winstanley School and New College Academy, alongside Soft Touch artists and Philharmonia musicians.
