2026/27 Philharmonia Instrumental Fellowship
A core part of the Philharmonia’s activity is nurturing talent in our sector. Each year, an outstanding group of musicians near the start of their careers are selected as Philharmonia Instrumental Fellows. Across the season, they are mentored Philharmonia musicians, perform recitals across the country and take part in paid work with the Orchestra, enabling them to develop their artistic skills among some of the world’s finest musicians.
After a competitive application and audition process, we are pleased to announce our 2026/27 cohort of Philharmonia Instrumental Fellows.
Vanessa Hristova – viola
Nia Williams – cello
Annabel Beniston – double bass
Stefan Bulhya – clarinet
Tom Donkin – bassoon
Claire Marsden – horn

In addition to our newly appointed Fellows, Melanie Gruwez (violin), Esther Zaglia (violin) and Clara Gatti Comini (harp) will continue their Fellowship until 2027.
