From vinyl in the 1940s to virtual reality today, the Philharmonia has always pioneered the use of new technology to bring great music to a wider audience. Our trailblazing projects connect us with a growing audience beyond the concert hall, allowing everyone to experience the Orchestra from the inside.
We are sector leaders in the production of immersive experiences and online media. Over 350,000 people have visited our installations, and our YouTube channel has almost 90,000 subscribers. Many of our projects have won awards, including a Lovie, a Raindance Film Festival award and three Royal Philharmonic Society awards.
