2026/27 Leicester season
Explore our concerts at De Montfort Hall.
Welcome to the Philharmonia Orchestra’s 2026/27 season at De Montfort Hall.
This season brings an exciting mix of great music and world-class artists to Leicester, with five concerts full of drama, energy and unforgettable live performance.
Enjoy two jewels of the piano repertoire performed by Seong-Jin Cho and Emanuel Ax, experience Mendelssohn’s much-loved Violin Concerto in the hands of Bomsori Kim, and see percussion take centre stage as we’re joined by the brilliant Vivi Vassileva in a thrilling concerto by James MacMillan.
Santtu-Matias Rouvali, the Philharmonia’s Principal Conductor, returns to De Montfort Hall twice this season. He opens the season in October with music by Shostakovich, and comes back in February as part of our series honouring 200 years since the passing of Beethoven. Manfred Honeck also joins the season with Beethoven’s energetic Seventh Symphony.
We want these concerts to feel welcoming, exciting and accessible to as many people as possible. Tickets start from £15, with discounts and concessions available. Our series of free pre-concert Insights Talks also give you the chance to hear more about the music in an informal and friendly setting.
You can save money by taking advantage of our multibuy offer – book 3 or 4 concerts and save 10%, or book all 5 concerts and get 15% off.
