2025/26 Canterbury season
Discover our season at The Marlowe
Welcome to our 2025/26 season at our Canterbury home, The Marlowe.
Our concerts at The Marlowe spans centuries as we perform beloved classics from Mendelssohn and Brahms, to new music by Gabriela Ortiz, the Philharmonia’s Featured Composer this season – we give the UK premiere of her new cello concerto in April with cellist Alisa Weilerstein and our Principal Guest Conductor Marin Alsop.
We welcome conductors Nil Venditti, Stephen Bell and Adam Hickox to Canterbury, plus exciting young soloists: cellist Anastasia Kobekina and pianist Alim Beiseimbayev. Hear them perform concertos by Shostakovich and Beethoven that show off their expert technique and musicality.
Our popular Philharmonia Brass at Christmas and Philharmonia at the Movies concerts return this season, guaranteed to leave audiences with smiles on their faces.
