Released on Friday 4 September 2020 by Signum Records, the album represents a significant milestone for the Orchestra – marking one year until Rouvali officially begins his tenure as Principal Conductor, the recording will symbolically connect him to the Philharmonia’s celebrated recording legacy.

In this release, Rouvali, celebrated for his balletic conducting style, leads a performance of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake. It was recorded live in concert at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in November 2019.
