Programme

Bruckner String Quintet

Five members of our string section have chosen Bruckner’s String Quintet for this free Philharmonia Chamber Players performance.

Renowned as a composer of symphonies and choral works, Anton Bruckner composed only a handful of pieces of chamber music. With a blissfully beautiful Adagio as the fourth of its five movements, the Quintet is a rewarding discovery for Bruckner fans and newcomers alike.
