2025/26 Leicester season
Across five fantastic concerts, we welcome some of the most inspiring talent in the classical music world to our Leicester home.

Our 2025/26 season at De Montfort Hall brings some of the biggest names in classical music to Leicester.
Our Principal Conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali makes his Leicester return in June. He’s joined by stellar British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor in an all-Strauss concert – and a programme once conducted by the composer himself!
More piano music can be heard in the hands of Bruce Liu, who rose to fame in 2021 after winning the prestigious International Chopin Piano Competition. Enjoy Ravel’s jazzy Piano Concerto in G paired with Tchaikovsky’s richly powerful Symphony No. 5 – the lyrical tune in the slow movement is heartbreakingly beautiful.
Other stars joining us this season include trumpeter Pacho Flores, who performs music by Gabriela Ortiz – the Philharmonia’s Featured Composer next season – in a programme closing with Berlioz’s beloved Symphonie fantastique. And conductor Leonidas Kavakos and cellist Kian Soltani, who join forces for a programme featuring Schumann’s beautiful Cello Concerto.
In September, enjoy a charming programme of Beethoven and Shostakovich in the hands of some of the industry’s most exciting young talent.
