Throughout the Philharmonia’s 80th birthday year, the orchestra explores some big questions around music and identity. Ahead of our concert featuring Stravinsky, Prokofiev and Rachmaninov, all of whom lived in exile from Soviet Russia, come and have your say.
What role does music play in preserving cultural identity for exiled or migrant communities? How have exiled composers and performers used music as a medium for resistance, activism or memory?
