Fabrizio was born in 1988 near Napoli and at the age of 10 began to learn to play the piano and violin. Fabrizio studied with Felice Cusano at the Fiesole School of Music, Salvatore Accardo at W.Stauffer Academy, and with Dora Schwarzberg at the Pinerolo Academy, following her in various masterclasses.
After his studies in Italy, he was awarded a scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music in London and graduated with a Masters of Music in Violin Performance under So-Ock Kim. Fabrizio has also attended numerous masterclasses, his teachers include M.Vengerov and L.Kavakos among others.
Fabrizio has been a prize-winner at a number of prestigious competitions including the 2010 Vittorio Veneto International Violin Competition and the 2013 Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition.
He is in demand as a guest concertmaster with world class orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and Orchestre de la Suisse Romande. He has played as guest co-leader with the London Symphony Orchestra and regularly leads orchestras such as Teatro dell’Opera Orchestra in Rome, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra in Florence, Teatro La Fenice Orchestra in Venice, Tiroler Festspiele Orchestra Erl, Teatro Petruzzelli Orchestra in Bari. In 2016, he won the Concertmaster position of the Tyroler Symphonie Orchester Innsbruck, and in the same year he joined the Philharmonia Orchestra as Assistant Leader, a position he currently holds in the UK. In 2022 he won the Concertmaster position of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari Orchestra, a position currently held in Italy.
Fabrizio has performed as soloist with major orchestras throughout the world including Europe, China, USA, South America and Iran, attending music festivals across the world including Ravello Festival, the Festival dei Due Mondi, Kassel Festival, Kulangsu Music, the Philharmonia Chamber Players series, performing in prestigious concert halls such as Teatro San Carlo, Teatro Carlo Felice, Salle Garnier, Vahdat Hall, Royal Opera House Muscat, Royal Festival Hall, and Musikverein Brahms Saal.
He also appears on radio including RAI Radio and BBC Radio, and is a prolific recording artist for major labels such as Classic Produktion Osnabrück (CPO), Centaur Records, Aulicus Classics and Brilliant Classics. He is currently violin professor at the London Performing Academy of Music.
Fabrizio plays a J.Guarneri 1727 violin gifted by the Barison family and a G.Seraphin 1748 violin from the Pro Canale Foundation in Milano.
