The Philharmonia appears in Cologne for the first time since 2015 in the second concert of its Germany Tour, where Paavo Järvi leads a performance of Rachmaninov's lyrical Second Symphony - a masterpiece filled with flowing melodies and lush orchestrations.
Plus, Grammy Award-winning violinist Hilary Hahn makes a welcome return to the Philharmonia, performing Prokofiev's virtuosic First Violin Concerto.
