2024/25 London Season
This autumn, explore the music of the Nordic countries in our series Nordic Soundscapes, with our Principal Conductor Santtu. And enjoy great music from Mozart to Mahler, featuring some of the most inspiring musicians in the business.
This autumn we invite you to join us for Nordic Soundscapes, a series of concerts and discussions about the relationship between nature, music and the climate crisis from a Nordic perspective. Alongside masterpieces by Sibelius, Nielsen and Grieg, discover new music by composers engaging directly with the climate crisis, arguably the crucial issue of our time.
Charismatic violinist Nemanja Radulović is our Featured Artist for the 2024/25 season. In October you can hear him play Khachaturian’s Violin Concerto. With our Principal Conductor Santtu on the podium, we’re expecting sparks to fly.
Our Principal Guest Conductor Marin Alsop conducts music by both Gustav and Alma Mahler, and Conductor Laureate Esa-Pekka Salonen returns to conduct the UK premiere of Magnus Lindberg’s Viola Concerto with Lawrence Power.
We’re also thrilled to be working with classical greats Sir András Schiff, Leonidas Kavakos and Herbert Blomstedt, while pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii, violinist Maria Dueñas, and saxophonist Jess Gillam are among the most exciting soloists of the next generation.
We hope to see you there.
