Gaspard the Fox is a set of delightful children’s books about an urban fox and his relationship with other animals and humans in the city. The latest book in the series, Gaspard’s Foxtrot, has been set to music by renowned composer Jonathan Dove. In this live show Gaspard’s adventures are narrated by the book’s author, Zeb Soanes, and brought to life on screen by its illustrator, James Mayhew.Alongside, enjoy a classic piece of musical storytelling, also narrated and drawn live by Soanes and Mayhew, Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf.

Jonathan Dove’s music for Gaspard’s Foxtrot was comissioned by the Philharmonia Orchestra, Three Choirs Festival Association, Docklands Sinfonia, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
