This event is now off-sale. If you are still interested in coming and haven’t booked yet, don’t worry – we have plenty of spares available to collect on the door. We’d love to see you there!
Now in its 15th year, Hear and Now is a unique musical collaboration between older people living with dementia and their carers, young singers and instrumentalists from grassroots community organisations, and members of the Philharmonia Orchestra.
Join us for this year’s final sharing performance of the Hear and Now project in Bedford, which follows seven creative workshops across May and June. At this final performance, project participants and musicians from the Philharmonia share a programme of well-loved and specially written music, song and poetry. And there might just be some dancing too.
This year’s Hear and Now performance in Bedford takes places in the main theatre at the University of Bedfordshire.
This project has been co-produced by the Philharmonia and Orchestras Live and delivered in partnership with Fusion Youth Singing Group, Tibbs Dementia Foundation, Bedford Music Hub, Ananda Arts and a range of community ensembles. Hear and Now is supported by St John’s Hospital Trust.
