Now in its 14th year, Hear and Now is a unique musical collaboration between older people living with dementia and their carers, young singers and instrumentalists from grassroots community organisations, and members of the Philharmonia Orchestra.
Join us for this year’s final sharing performance of the Hear and Now project in Bedford, which follows eight creative workshops across the past three months. At this final performance, project participants and musicians from the Philharmonia share an hour-long programme of well-loved and specially written music, song and poetry. And there might just be some dancing too.
Hear and Now in Bedford is co-produced with Orchestras Live and presented in partnership with Fusion Youth Singing, Tibbs Dementia Foundation’s Music 4 Memory and the University of Bedfordshire, with support from Bedford Music Hub, Bedfordshire Music Trust and Bedford Music Co-operative.
