Open Rehearsals offer insight into the orchestra, conductor and soloists’ preparation for a public performance. Bear witness to the creative process and hear great music come together before the concert and before the crowds.
Please note that Open Rehearsals are not performances. For example, playing may be paused at various intervals in order for the conductor, soloist and orchestra to agree on specific styles and dynamics.
Open rehearsals will take place in the auditorium where the concert is due to be performed, unless otherwise specified. Times and repertoire being rehearsed will be confirmed prior to the rehearsal date, as these schedules are subject to change.
All tickets must be booked in advance, and patrons entitled to a complimentary ticket should contact friends@philharmonia.co.uk.
