Jessie Montgomery’s Strum is the perfect introduction to her music, full of dancing rhythms and snatches of lively, folk-inflected melody. It opens this free early evening performance by members of the Philharmonia Orchestra.
Come along just for this 45-minute concert, or stay to hear the full orchestra at 5pm in Gabriela Ortiz’s Tzam, Beethoven’s ‘Emperor’ Concerto, and Mendelssohn’s ‘Scottish’ Symphony.
