Philharmonia Festival in Bedford

Join the Philharmonia Orchestra to celebrate our 80th birthday! This Spring, we’re marking our anniversary in each of our four residencies with a day of activity for you to get involved in: try out our virtual reality experience in the Harpur Centre, listen to pop-up performances across town and drop in to an open rehearsal, all before our evening concert at the Corn Exchange.

Have you ever tried a virtual reality experience?
Try the Virtual Orchestra from 11am until 4pm at the Harpur Centre – put on a headset and experience the music from the best seat in the house: right in the middle of the orchestra!

From 1.30pm at the Harpur Suite, watch the young musicians of Bedford Music Service play side-by-side with Philharmonia players.

We’re opening the doors to the orchestra at our Open Rehearsal at the Corn Exchange – join us at 3pm but hurry, it’s first come, first served!
