Session leader

Lucy Drever

Orchestra Unwrapped is accompanied by a free teacher INSET session led by concert presenter and music education specialist, Lucy Drever which will take place ahead of our online concert on Friday 23 April. This online session will assist teachers in preparing their classes for the concert with practical examples of creative musical activities to maximise their learning. A full resource pack with details on the concert programme and composers will be made available, along with practice videos for the participation piece, Heart, Power, Magic. No prior music experience is necessary, but the training session is also suitable for music specialists. Orchestra Unwrapped is designed especially with KS2 pupils (ages 7-11) in mind, and therefore the INSET session is most useful for teachers of this year/age group.
