Play along: Virtual Orchestra
Join us at the Southbank Centre for the launch of our latest Virtual Orchestra experience – an exciting, hands-on journey that invites you to pick up a virtual instrument and play alongside the full symphony orchestra. Designed with families in mind, this immersive experience welcomes curious kids, first-time concertgoers and seasoned music lovers alike.
Renowned for pushing the boundaries of technology and performance, the Philharmonia has previously wowed audiences with its celebrated VR experiences of Mahler’s Symphony No. 3, The Lark Ascending with Nicola Benedetti, and Sibelius’s Symphony No. 5. Now, across two special days in London, we unveil their most interactive experience yet.
Pop on a headset and find yourself at the heart of the orchestra. Explore, experiment and discover how it feels to be part of something extraordinary – no musical experience required. Whether you’re eight or eighty, this shared adventure might just spark a lifelong love of music… or reveal a hidden talent in someone you least expect.
An extraordinary glimpse inside the sights and sounds of a symphony orchestra.
