We’re joined by Michael Collins, the “highest profile clarinettist of his generation in Britain” (Bachtrack) – as conductor and soloist with the Philharmonia, one of his closest collaborators. Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto, the last piece he completed before his death, is often described as the composer’s swan song.
