Bullfrog Orchestra

We are delighted to be work with Bullfrog Arts to provide the Bullfrog Orchestra, a project that supports Looked After Children in building confidence and self-esteem through the fusion of Western Classical music and taiko drumming.

Regular workshops in school bring together classical rhythms and taiko drumming beats and give students the opportunity to explore different instruments in order to embed music in their lives. Members of the Philharmonia Orchestra demonstrate their instruments and inspire the students, giving them the opportunity to see world class musicians as the students start their journey.

The Bullfrog Orchestra Project is able to gift the student their forever instrument of their choice and support them in accessing one to one instrument lessons. Students also have the opportunity to attend a Philharmonia concert with their foster families and take part in a Summer Concert playing their chosen instrument alongside Philharmonia musicians.
