Barts Choir present Parry's spinetingling setting of I Was Glad, originally written for the coronation of King Edward VII and Walton's Belshazzar's Feast scored for large orchestra, offstage brass, organ and double choir. In between, Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé suite and Respighi’s Pines of Rome conjure up the worlds of Greek myth and ancient Rome.
