Series the salonen series

In his tenth season as Principal Conductor, Esa-Pekka Salonen conducts seven concerts that bear all the hallmarks of his partnership with the Philharmonia Orchestra: huge era-defining works, including Schoenberg’s Gurrelieder, music from Scandinavia, including a concert celebrating the centenary of Finnish independence, and contemporary music, including new works by Unsuk Chin and Daníel Bjarnason.
